Blizzard Beach, Free Parking or Shuttles
We slept in awhile and had a good breakfast before heading off to Blizzard Beach...approx. 10 minutes from our townhouse and parking lot is FREE!
Getting better at the scanning our cards quickly routine |
A day pass is somewhere around $50, but it was one of our FUN PASS places, so because we added on the Fun Pass, our next 5 Fun Passes are "free". COOL!
Beach ware in May! Thinking of our friends in Canada... brrrr... |
A locker costs $8. We skipped buying one the next few times we went. |
We felt like the only people here, and it was nice that we weren't listening to others conversations. The people beside us were speaking a language from the Orient... Chinese? Japanese?
Lunches were rice cakes with meat, cheese, and veggies. |
When we mentioned to an employee that "we can't smell chlorine", he said that "if you smell it, it's too much". Talking of employee, they are on the ball here. Constantly moving around and noticing what is happening. Sometimes too much so...you feel a little rushed at the bottom of
some slides...Move 'em on out!
Aww, the Lazy River that takes you meandering through the water park. You can get off at different spots to enjoy the different rides. Can we stay here forever?
Mei got tired of just sitting in the tubes, so she would pull us all like a train. She made a great speedy engine. We got a lot of looks and giggles. So relaxing having your baby pull you around and tell you "we're here!" at the next stop.
Waves were a little much for Mei...kept pushing her down onto the bumpy floor. |
Feeling refreshed! |
Mei forgot her hat...someone had put it on a post and as Mei was running to get it... a man picked it up and was taking it home! Mei went up to him and said "excuse me, that's my hat" and he gave it back. Very funny.
If you stayed at a Disney resort, shuttles take you there and back. |
Lost the girls blue BMO sunglasses. They said to go to Magic Kingdom to the Customer Service and say what park, date and description of items. They are picked up every day and brought there. We tried that, but no sunglasses.
